The Chisel features the lightest aluminum XC frame in its class, thanks to D’Aluisio Smartweld technology. Every frame tube is carefully manipulated, with varied wall thicknesses and shaping that provide maximum stiffness for power transfer and ride-smoothing compliance for comfort and control.

With 110mm of Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension, the Chisel inherits the same high-performance DNA as our Epic 8 race bike. Its advanced suspension kinematics and progressive geometry, honed on World Cup courses, give the Chisel the ability to handle technical terrain with confidence and speed.

Thanks to the Epic 8-inspired geometry and kinematics, the Chisel is the most efficient pedalling bike in its class. The steep seat tube angle places you in the optimal pedalling position, while anti-squat technology minimises pedal bob. SMOOTHER IS FASTER
The Chisel features a flex-stay rear end, a design more common on carbon bikes, for class-leading suspension performance. By eliminating traditional pivots, we’ve reduced weight and maintenance, achieving the same efficiency, control, and lightweight design typically found in carbon, but with advanced alloy.
HYDROFORMED ALLOY
Shaving weight even further, the Chisel uses a one-piece hydroformed seat tube that integrates the seat tube pivot, main pivot, and BB shell. This innovative design cuts down on extra material and welding, resulting in a cleaner, stronger frame.
