The Shimano Deore crankset FC-M6100-1 is for 12-speed drivetrains and comes with a single chainring for direct mounting. Ease of use, reliability and quick chainring changes are the main advantages of such a set-up. The Dynamic Chain Engagement+ technology, which was previously used on the SLX, for example, ensures that the chain runs securely, smoothly and quietly over the teeth. The chainline, i.e. the distance between the frame and the chainring, is 52 mm for this model, making it compatible with 142 mm and 148 mm over locknut dimensions.
