The 2024 Specialized Rockhopper Comp Hardtail Mountain Bike is the middle bike in the Rockhopper range and comes with key upgrades to brakes, gears and the fork. The Rockhopper range have long been the go-to bike for beginner mountain bikers and the 2024 models are no exception.

The Rockhopper is built around a lightweight yet durable Premium A1 Aluminium frame. It features hydroformed top and downtubes to keep weight low and strength high, all while providing increased standover clearance, slick internal cable routing, and dropper-post compatibility. To ensure that the Rockhopper offers both the best fit and best performance for every person the smaller Rockhoppers use a 27.5 inch wheel while the larger bikes use a 29 inch wheel. The front suspension forks also come with size-specific travel and spring rates to ensure consistent geometry, handling, and suspension performance, regardless of frame or wheel size.

The Rockhopper Comp comes with a full Shimano setup with 1x 10 speed Shimano Deore gearing and BR-MT200 hydraulic brakes. The RockShox Judy Solo Air fork comes with either 80, 90 or 100mm of travel depending on the size of bike.
